Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Closure and Compliance

EarthCon personnel have performed more than 1,000 soil and groundwater assessments related to petroleum releases at Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank (UST & AST) sites. EarthCon also provides oversight for tank closures including tank removal, closure-in-place and remediation. EarthCon personnel also prepare, review, update and implement Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Facility Response Plans (FRP) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) for our clients.

Our professional staff is well versed in the regulations governing UST and AST operations and management, including those of the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality UST Branch, Mississippi Groundwater Protection Trust Fund as well as similar qualifying programs at the Alabama Department of Environmental Quality, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
